Handheld jib for Scarlet/Epic

[Marcel André Morin]

I've found items like the mamba crane (http://www.cobracraneusa.com/mamba-crane.html) and T-Rex jib (http://cinescopophilia.com/video-of-that-t-rex-jib-slash-body-mounted-human-crane-rig/) but they look a lil' rickity. You guys use anything similar to perch out over the bow of a boat or do lil' jib moves in tight quarters?

thx for your help

Have not used anything like this, but that T-rex jib looks like it would take you straight to the bottom if you fell off the boat. I know some Steadicam ops who work on boats have a quick break-away rip-cord that lets them out of their rig in case they fall in.....
