I could really use half resolutions, meaning 4.5K, 3.5K, 2.5K and 1.5K. Here is my reasoning :

Well first and foremost is 1.5K at 72-96 FPS, for above 720p in a decent slow-mo frame rate.

Next, 4.5K at 18 fps. I know this would be a niche, but it would be nice to have. I am personally going to be shooting a short at 18 fps to get the old movie look. It would be awesome to get the most resolution possible.

3.5K would be good for economic shooters. You can still debayer to almost 3K.

2.5K This seems to be the next step in resolution, with the GoPro and BMCC. For a decent 1080p/2K debayer.

OK, I maybe reaching with the last two. It is the 1.5K and 4.5K I am really after, to me, I would use both.

Sounds like a good idea. Would be great if we could shoot 60 at 2.5k

2.5K at 50fps is at the top of my list. And I can sort of see a use for 1.5K as well.

4.5K WS at 24 would be cool to have as well, if it's possible performance-wise.

4.5k was my favorite res on the REDone. Would love to shoot it on scarlet.

I would rather have 4.5k/24-25 than a 10%-20% increase in lower half-resses. Like 60p at 2.5k will essentially be as useable as 48p at 3k and won't look as good. But 4.5k at 24 will be useable all the time and be a substantial bump compared to the 4096x1706 of spherical-cropped 2.4:1 (almost as substantial a visual difference as 3k to 4k?)
