  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Wow, I just returned from a job and saw all your post, thanks guys! I´m glad you liked it. We really enjoyed this shot and the work with Mario who is a fantastic hair artist.
Brandon, this was shot on EPIC with Nikkor AIs, 35 and 50 if my mind serves me right. I used a bunch of broncolor HMIs and a projector and we had some dry ice fog. So there actually is not much post work, I set the look in RCX and imported the R3Ds in Premiere. Applied some minor corrections in Resolve.

Can you share more of how you created the piece? What were your thoughts on lighting, composition etc?

Also, the music and sound works very well with the images. Have you written the music for the piece or did you edit to a finished music piece?

Andreas, the hair artwork was created in our studio the day we shot and we did not know before what we were supposed to get… so we could not plan a detailed setup and had to be flexible instead which I think is sometimes better than to stick to a thought out plan that might not work in the end. I actually like this approach as I am quite fast with my lighting setups and it keeps me busy - especially with the mirror dress that shows the whole surrounding.
The music is from a royalty free source and I mixed it from two tracks.

Coming from still photography it is the first time I dared to share something here and I really appreciate all your likes, thanks!
