H.264-encoded QuickTime

Hey Guys

My Red is about to ship, I’m currently figuring out a workflow for adobe on Windows while I wait for the plug in and the cineform trial. My question is this; can I export H.264-encoded QuickTime from redcine and open it in premiere? Is there any trouble in this? What would be the cons and pros?

Please forgive my ignorance in these matters

You can do this, but why would you want to? H.264 is not the best editing format. You can consider uncompressed, TIFF, DPX, etc...
