  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

GROUP BUY - Vaxis Storm Wireless Streaming System

Hi Chris,
Thanks for the reply. Please put me down for an additional receiver also, so 1:2
With regards to the 500' kit, is it the same as what's listed 'in the box' on the Vaxis website here: http://en.vaxis.cn/xiazai_jeilLM.htm
I notice the 1200' options are v-mount or ab mount for the receiver. Does the 500' version include a SONY NP-F970battery mount instead for the transmitter and receiver, in addition to the d-tap cables?

I know for a fact the 1000 and 1200 foot versions come in both AB/V-Mount, however, I don't know what battery/mount plate is or isn't available for the 500 foot version since it's substantially smaller.

I want in, 1200 w/ V-mount

Added and info sent!

All group buy members from Europe can get their units trough us (we're the German distributor for Vaxis). Price stays the same, shipping should be slightly cheaper.

Feel free to contact me at kellermann (at) store-abt.de

I want in! Germany here...I'll send you an email :)

If the 500' receiver is limited to a Sony plate, I can help if anyone needs an adaptor plate to put a Gold or V-mount plate there instead. I did this with my Eclipse 500. It also works with the Ghost Eye. The Vaxis 500' looks identical so I am certain it will also fit.

Hi All!

Definitely interested in the 1200 as I've been waiting as long as I can to purchase a Bolt 1000. Who here has actually used one of these 1200ft systems and can vouch for it's reliability in a professional setting. Nothing is worse than waiting for a wireless signal to connect. I don't want to explain to my directors that we're having issues with a video feed. Also I don't want to hear any "Told you so" comments on set if I purchase this over a Teradek. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts! Thanks!!

I can vouch for the 1200 and 1000 foot versions. Both have performed flawlessly on set for me. Have had absolutely no issues. Blows away teradek in my opinion, which I ALWAYS had issues with.

How many times have you used these systems? Have you used them on location and on a stage? Thanks for your help, appreciate you taking the time to answer questions.
You're making it much easier to make a decision.

anyone have a screen shot of the first post, as I am trying to pay but do not know how much to pay. I am already am on the list. ordering a 500ft setup with one extra receiver, being shipped to california. 500 1:2 Thanks

Thanks so much Chris for the kick butt group buy. And thanks to Julie (and Cong) for delivering on a deadline. Already putting the Storm through its paces and it's a fantastic piece of kit. Attached a few pics in action. See if you can spot the transmitter :)

Not sure why one attachment keeps getting rotated.
