  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

GROUP BUY - Tilta Nucleus-M Wireless Follow Focus

I ran the very first group buy with Arri over 10 years ago. That was with products that were ALREADY available. Even that was a rough go. New products... fugget about it. I ordered one of these and I am HOPING to see it before the end of the year.

had my unit for just over a week and its worked great on 2 shoots thus far..

for those of you still waiting... ITS WORTH IT!!!!!!!!!!

Can the contest end after we get our units? I am #421 and no news yet on delivery date

More units should be coming in this week, then hopefully a lot more by the end of the month. Tilta doesn’t want to give exact numbers until they actually have them ready to ship, just so they don’t over promise anything.

Updates,

We will have around 30 units out by this week, already start shipping by yesterday, if you are on this line, you will start to have a tracking by today. End of this month, we will have roughly around another 100 units out, maybe more.

This second and future shipments will have new wireless chip. It will offer better range and more reliable. For the first shipment clients, we will have find a time for update yours to the latest version!

Much appreciated for your patience again!

I'm number #44... so fingers crossed. :)

Reached out to Tilta via email to get info about second level, boosted range alluded to on their website. Got reply today:

"Yes the Nucleus-M will be able to extended from 1000' to 1 1/4 miles. There will be an antenna extension accessories that will boost the signal, along with a firmware update that will allow us to reach 1 1/4 miles range. We are currently working on that firmware update to reach the maximize range as promised."

It is bad for delaying the shipping for such long time!

Seriously Steven? That's really bad form. You're not helping yourself or your company by throwing in some nasty 2 cents. I still have a broken Cinegears motor that I can't get anyone to reply to me to fix...
