  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

One person's already dropped out, why don't you message Chris and see if you can be put on standby?
I expect a few more will vanish before this I all over as some people aren't too happy about the wait.
 
Went to their booth at the IBC in A'dam.
Spoke to a girl called Iris, I think
She said they will start to fulfill beginning October GB orders
Will see. Personally don't mind having my money out as it's not so much to worry about but I just hope we won't receive lemons...
 
went to probably the same girl at IBC and she told me they are already shipping to GB orders :)
my impresion of the system from IBC:

hand unit: no ergonomics at all. its a box with a knob (C-motion has a cool new A shaped design so you dont bend your wrists) but the wooden finish feels nice in the hand. maybe the wooden backplate is a bit thin so might crack if you hit it too hard. zoom joystick looks cool but might dosent seem that will last too long but is really responsive.

motors: they are big!!! they dont look as big on the photos, but i guess the wireless in them thakes some place. also if i remember correctly (not 100% sure as ive looked at a lot of FFs at IBC) it looks like there is a gear that drives the bigger gear and that smaller white inner gear looks like soft plastic that might loose its edges over time...

handgrips: i was really sceptical about this on the photos but they surprised me in a positive way, they feel nice in the hand and you dont have to grab them hard as they have the "stopper" in the back so they rest between the thumb and palm really nicely

for the money it looks good. just depends how long it will last...
 
Have these started shipping yet? The group buy is large so I would imagine it will take awhile to get through this list.

Am traveling with a show, and so requested during the ordering process that they inform me of intent to ship prior to actually sending to verify a proper send-to address. Sophia at Tilta has just done this, checking via email this AM whether they have my proper current shipping address, as "unit will be shipping this week". So I expect it will actually ship out this week.

Hoping to get it today....we shall see. The big thing is my schedule...been pretty busy.

If someone wants to pick it up for me at the Tilta Burbank office and drive it up to Orange County for me, you'd get some hands on time with it. DM me if anyone's available today.

I too received the email from them yesterday, unsolicited mind you. Really gives me a hope it will be here soon. #50 on the list.
 
Is this closed? I do not find the discounted price through this group buy?
(I might want to wait until the nucleus-N if it does not take another 6 months)
