  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

GROUP BUY - Tilta Nucleus-M Wireless Follow Focus

I think at this point the only real advantage of the GB for EU folks would be the extra effort as stated by Tilta to "arrange" things in terms of the question of import duties. To date, this still seems a bit unclear...if folks here get my drift. Perhaps this will be clarified on the individual order forms of each buyer ?

Wait, 15-22% is the VAT applied by the customs. Import fee is around 4% in EU. If you are a company you can claim the VAT back. CVP price with VAT is 1595 + shipping.
 
Has anyone heard back after sending their info to Tilta?
 
I have. They knocked the price down another 20.00 because they cannot ship the batteries, a link was sent to order through Amazon for 18.49.

I am checking if I can pay using OFX, in their currency CNY. Then you do not need to pay any Wire Transfer fee if using OFX. I have never used OFX before so first time, no endorsement.
 
International wire fee: $75
Shipping: $50

Same here. No outgoing international wire xfers through my CU.
 
Hi Chris, Can we make payment to their US branch via Credit Card, Cash in person, Certified Check, US Bank Transfer, etc... as Tilta now has a store in Burbank? or are they separate all together?

Bitcoin would be great. Why suggest join Facebook for updates, let's keep it here...... we don't do facebook. I don't want to get Veiwfactored on this deal.
 
I received my invoice tonight......no cc or paypal options? Agh! Is there no way to make this payment simple? I'll gladly pay the paypal or cc fees.....lets keep it simple!
 
Bitcoin? Hell, why not Western Union or MoneyGram? Maybe 1 ounce gold bullion coins? What the crap...

Anyway, yes, CC would be nice and reasonable.
 
If Tilta does not want to accept PayPal/ or credit cards due to processing fees, try to get them to accept TransferWise - fast, easy, works internationally, and the cost is very reasonable compared to the exorbitant prices banks charge for international wire transfers.
 
Here's something to look out for.. I ordered the basic Nucleus M Kit, and also got the additional motor (for full FIZ control). I do see that the invoice has the additional motor, but I see no additional bridge connection cable included (I would need two, right?). I hope that it's there. I pinged Tilta on this point for clarification. Hopefully, they though of this little detail.
 
Just for the sake of ease I wouldn't care if Tilta added the $20 CC processing fee so I could use my CC. That would still be less than the wire transfer fee.
