Never been part of a group buy. How does this work?

If enough people commit to buying a product, the manufacturer in turn gives a discount on the product, usually around 10-30%.

We need at least 10 people to commit to this Group Buy in order for it to happen.

nice...the main focus knob unit looks great... handles look a little weak but hey the main bit looks so solid.

wow. $1099... hard to fathom

Do you want us to list accessories as well Chris?

Quick question: were the gimbal adapters for the handles included in the package?

The retail price will be $1199 and will ship sometime in July, but Tilta is hoping sooner. Redusers who participate in this group buy will get priority allocations, meaning the first units that come in, go out to us, which is a great reason to get in on this GB in addition to the slight savings. Since Tilta's making very little per/unit on these, the discount isn't huge, but it's something, and there will only be 1-tier level. I'm hoping that if we get an insane amount of orders, Tilta will give us a higher percentage discount, I'll try and work some magic and do some convincing.

I would say that 400 orders in only 2 days constitutes an insane amount of orders. 10% off seems a little weak to me considering this list.
