GROUP BUY - Tilta Nucleus-M Wireless Follow Focus

Integration

Integration

Hey! Do you know if they have a SDK or connection port to control the fiz from the computer so I can add it to MP Studio?

+1 for me please

Thank you

I'd like one as well. +1
Thanks!
I picked up several FF modules this year at NAB and this one was by far the best.

120 + names on list on day one.. congrats Chris & Yang

Chris,
Put me down for one, for sure........how much is a third motor? Seems as though the handset will handle three, correct?

Yes, it's up to 3-channel hand controller. The extra motor will be a group buy price of only $300.

I would like a 3rd motor & possibly 2 high torque ones if made available

You don't need to itemize out extra options now, you will do that when you actually place the order. :-)

Carmel ceravolo is good for 1

Hey Joe. Carmel must have a reduser account to get on the list. So have him sign up for one and then chime in. At that point, he'll be added. That keeps things organized for me and for Tilta. Thanks for your cooperation.

Can anyone say what the differences are between the "Nucleus III Wireless Lens Control System WLC-T02"
and this new "Nucleus M"?

I am particularly interested in how super-slow I can make a zoom lens zoom with the "Nucleus M".

The Nucleus 3 primary difference is the touch screen interface. You still have 3 channel control with Nucleus-M, it just operates a bit differently. Also, the major price difference too.

Does it have any kind of integration with DSMC2? I feel like it would have been mentioned if there was.

They have the RED Rec control cable, but outside of that, no real DSMC2 integration.

Is there any specs on the motor torque? I'm really interested but need to be sure the motor has enough torque to move heavy lenses smoothly. Is the Epic run / stop included?

Will try and track down the actual torque spec. I've got Lomo Sphericals I'll be testing it on as soon as I get a testing unit in my hands.

Chris, do you know if Tilta is planning on making a Thumb wheel for solo operation? On a movi pro for example, that only has the ring, not the horizontal bar to add the handles to.

I know these hand grips are essentially going to be a gimbal thumbwheel controller because with Gravity, you can replace the gravity handles with these and you have thumb focus control. :-) I don't know if they will be making a fingerwheel specifically for different gimbals, although, they did announce their second generation Gravity, which has the circular handle system much like the MoVI Pro. I guess you could always make an adapter of some sort to secure the hand grip to the MoVI tube.

Not sure. Checking on that for you.
