My payment was confirmed on 09/15, and chose the 1 month wait. My question now is, with all the Chinese holiday delays, it there a shift forward when to expected my shipment or its still the 1 month wait which should imply I will get my tracking number any moment from now?

Mine is arriving today as well and I'm planning the same thing. I'll let you know if anything is off inventory on mine as well. Would be a good double check between us.

Did anybody else order the Red Power cable with the Gravity, to power the camera off the gimbal? I got the cable, but it seems to only be able to hook up to the Gravity "Power in" port. So I have a cable that goes "Power in" to "Power in", not really very useful, unless I am missing something.

Their batteries are rated way too low to run a Red/Gimbal for more than 15 min or less.

Yea, I wouldn't use their battery to power a RED, especially DSMC 2

Got my shipping notice late on Friday 10/28 -- expected delivery Tuesday 11/1. Really surprised how quickly it's shipping.

FYI I went with option 2 where they ship the gravity without the mimic and send me the mimic later when the upgraded one is ready. It came at the cost of a battery but I'm happy to get this in house for a shoot next week.

Got tracking number 3 days ago, though I noticed its shipped directly from Hong Kong, I guess this is due to fact that I chose to wait a month (not part of the initial 25 available units). I really don't know when its expecting to get delivered but I am glad it finally shipped. And I chose option 2 as well.

Chose option 2. My understanding (with option 2) is that it doesn't ship with the controller as of now. The controller comes 3 weeks later as an upgraded version and then you bound it to the Gravity. Hopefully the bounding would be seamless.

Gotcha, thanks. My assumption was that it would take 3 weeks for the Mimic to be updated starting back when it was first announced (Oct. 11th...3 weeks ago) and that all future units would ship with the updated Mimic controller.

FWIW, I received one of the early shipped units (received Oct. 14th) and it came from Hong Kong as well. It came overnight!
