  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Hi Guys! All good, sorry for the brief post but our internet has been down all day (still is) - all on track, working around the clock to make sure it stays that way! Finalisation of pricing for the accessories hasn't been done as we've had to prioritise stock and production orders, but that's next on the list! Won't be long,

don't worry - the longer you need the more I can save up for accessories and for prepping and streamlining my Rig when it finally hits the shelf :) Just give us a heads-up or a short status from time to time - I'm sure you can keep us happy enough that way (I always dig work-in-progress and prototyping pics and stuff) ;)
 
If anyone has a dying need for a system between now and the July/August shipping date, I just took delivery of a 2-axis RT Motion.

The handheld unit has the red Preston joystick, iris slider and amazing focus handwheel; the kit comes with two motors.

Available for rent in NYC--or shipped to your door if you'd like.
 
Hi James! Approx yes but it's not quite close enough to promise specific dates until we have the rest of the stock actually in our hands. We're constructing and prepping all the parts we've made (and received) stock for, so the shipping floodgates will open when we get the last of the stuff, for last week of July to first week of Aug,

Can you map small degree of the lens movement to large degree of the Rtmotion knob movement ?

or put in a another way : can you translate a large throw on the device to a small movement on the lens ?
 
I placed my order now nearly 8 weeks ago, how is the manufacturing progressing? An update would be nice :)
 
Hi all! Sorry, haven't checked the forum in a bit,

Glad to say that all is going well, still on Target! The main kits are going together now. The thumbwheels MAY have to ship out a weekish after the actual systems, but hopefully not. So, approx the end of this month for the first shipments, spreading into early-mid aug for the orders placed latest, if that makes sense.

I'll make sure I get back to any individual Qs this eve and through tomorrow. We're done with all orders now, so that frees us up.

We actually had one of our customers operate the steadicam for the Wimbledon men's final today (BBC - following the players on and off the court, interviews, etc.), worked flawlessly all day alongside the HD video transmitters, big thumbs up! (well done Howard, it looked fantastic),

I also sent an email to add me on a future list if you will have again a group buy.

I wanted to buy the redrock micro remote, but it seems most people say the RTMotion is better. I don't care / need for multiple channels but RTMotion has upgradable firmware and the multiple modes like smooth, fast or slow.
