  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

The Optitek contact form is an email script. There is no cart on the Optitek website. He will invoice you once he receives your email.

Hey Jacek. I have a great idea for you.

Why not lock us all in at the discount rate as if 30 people went ahead EVEN IF SOME PEOPLE NEVER FOLLOW THROUGH. That would be a great PR play. The catch would be all of us would have to report on reduser our great experiences with your product.

Then to make up the difference, simply allow a limited opportuntiy for poeple to fill in the missing orders after the fact (if there turn out to be any at all) to be filled on a first come first serve basis. This way EVERYONE WINS!

For example, lets just say that 5 people fail to follow through with their Group Buy orders. You could go ahead and offer the rest of us the discount as if those five did go through with the group buy and the rest of us would be so happy with you we would be happy to spread the word about the Optitron 2 to anyone who would listen. You wouldn't loose anything because I'm certain that within a week or two, especially after the rest of us start receiving our Optitrons and post raving reviews, those five missing spots would be quickly filled The key is the fact that it would be an extremely limited oportunity for the remaining 5 (on a first come first service basis) who jump on the group buy after the fact.

Everyone wins!

Once those few remaining spots are done the group buy officially ends.

Again, everybody wins!

What do you say Jacek? Great idea or what?

Seriously though, it's a Win-Win. No?

Plus it encourages everyone to get their orders in before they loose out knowing that for certain the discount is locked in.

The threshold for tier 3 remains at #30 units bought and paid for.

Financial questions are better addressed to Jacek directly but I believe he is allowing time for payments to come in, so payment deadlines have softened. The hard out date of 11/30 remains. All business must be concluded by that date.

We have 31 and need 30 for the discount that 1/3 of us will not go without. The problem is you can't all be the last guy to get in the boat. Try to remember the following quote and take the plunge.

Well I'm paying with the 10% discount so I can get sent out straight away, if all goes well they are going to refund the difference.
