  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Group Buy: L'Aigle Exoskeleton

I'm way down on the list to receive my exoskeleton and hopefully can stay patient for all this to be worked out. The one thing I would comment on is this: On video posts I have seen from BVE, BeyondHD states in a video that lead time is 2-3 weeks. The question for me then becomes this: Are the Reduser Group Buyers going to be the first people to receive the Exo until all have shipped or are we going to be receiving shipments along with BeyondHD buyers (who I think are paying full retail?) and further delaying those on the list that are far down such as myself? I mean according to BeyondHD's comments about the lead time, all reducer group buyers should be receiving our units in the next 2-3 weeks...am I missing something? Are we sharing delivery times with those paying full retail thereby delaying redusers who payed with a discount? We were informed we would be getting our units with priority but if we are waiting to get our units until full retail buyers through BeyondHD are getting shipments, I have a big problem with that. Could Carey or Pierre comment to this?

It’s a little early to get into details, but L’Aigle, or should we rather say EXHAUSS, will subcontract the logistics to a company able to deal with 200 shipments (Redusers + others) in... a few hours.

We are very much aware of the fact that most of you need their exo for shootings in april. So we are working hard to make it happen!

There you have it! Mass production.

I shouldn't even dignify this post with a response, but I have to set you straight.

I have put hundreds of hours into this group buy. It's insulting that you would suggest that I work hundreds of hours for 2, 000 Euro. I make that in a day. So my motivation is clearly not what you suggest.

I don't work for peanuts. I work because I'm passionate about filmmaking and these new filmmaking tools. I'm passionate about new tech that can help us filmmakers to do what we love with the best gear available.

I don't work for L'Aigle. If I did, I would be paid for my efforts and it would be a lot more than 2, 000 Euro.

I will say this one last time: if you paid, and you have a receipt, you are good. You will get you Exoskeleton when your number is up.

I'm done commenting on this matter.

Now, I am arriving at my location to shoot.

I wrote this on my iPhone enroute because I don't like being insulted when I am doing all of this testing for the greater good of this community.

Edit: If it makes you feel any better, I marked you as paid - your name was not on any of the lists I received from Pierre... it was lost in translation. Sorry for that. I had no clue you were not marked as paid. Now you are. As it stands, you are the 32nd person to receive your unit. I hope that eases your mind.

Thank you Carey. That is all I was asking for. My intention was not to insult anybody, but rather express concern over what had been promised and not delivered. The conversation should never devolve to a point of confrontation. If my words were the cause of that, my apologies. I will fully own up to it. I just wanted my concerns to be addressed instead of dismissed. You have now resolved that.

I believe your questions should be directed to Carey via PM or another method. Those of us whom have participated in this GB are not looking for comparisons to your product rather we check back here for information about the EXO.

Nothing personal, this is borderline trolling this thread.

We don't really want to read bickering between you two.

Just wanted to add that It is not possible to pm Carey since his mailbox is full. So i think all requests is good in this thread. Will be great to Watch Careys videoreview once its ready.

In terms of Group buys, I am very satisfied so far to how this has been going.

The delays have been justified with a better product and better design. The cost and savings have been awesome! Carey has done a great job for not getting paid to do this...I can only imagine how much better he'd be if we did pay him....ha ha.

Pierre is giving us a "weapon" of Exo-suits despite us ordering the "Mx" version. Rather have loss a few jobs then trying to sell beta version cause version 2 is so much better.

Communication is not bad...and he's French! Ha ha just kidding. Seriously, patience is paying off and I can see the light. Now if only I can see the new Red Weapon and have that with my Ronin and Exo-suit, life is wonderful!!

Half German, half Uruguayan actually... Poor French people. Going through a lot lately.

An interesting sight where tradition meets future (from Cabsat Dubaï 2015):

We are being editing the proforma invoices on the online shop.

What you need to check is: "Total à payer" or "Total to pay": this is the amount we're expecting to be transfered.

The main price now includes shipping costs. The deducted amount is what is left of your deposit after Paypal or Bank commissions.

So please log in and download your invoice. Thanks!

Those of you who already paid in full will get an invoice with "0€" to be paid.

Bank transfer sent! Been waiting for this a long time. Second step to get the Exo.
Will I get a confirmation e-mail when the payment is received?

Ricardo, You need to login in to your account.

Pierre - When I log into my account, I see a credit for my deposit (via Paypal - yes, I was one of those early ones) but I don't see an invoice for the remaining balance (or any sort of order, for that matter). I am #22 on the list and would like to resolve this ASAP so I don't have any delays in getting my exo.

Thanks.

Same here

Pierre and Carey the money is burning a hole in my pocket ans I would love to take advantage of the exchange rate but still a bit Leary until I see Carey's full review and some more pictures and at least a video and some details as to the final version (how it attaches to the movi / gimbal etc...).

what is the estimated delivery once Payment is made

Errr - I just got a mail and logged into my account - to be presented with an invoice for Euro 4 087,50!!!

I paid the deposit (well, my other half paid on her account) - so I was expecting it to be Euro 2000 less the deposit already paid.

Am I missing something?

OK - had a bit of a poke around and found the answer. Maybe I was looking at the wrong thing before...

If you login to your account and check the 'order history' there should be an invoice waiting in there - for the GB price less the deposit.

For some reason, the deposit on mine (E 374) is then being deducted as a voucher on the main invoice for E 361, so have some costs been rolled in there?

Anyway, the invoice is for E 2049 less the deposit. Presume the 49 is shipping costs?
