  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Group Buy: L'Aigle Exoskeleton

So, Carey. The question, an honest one, that never got answered is whether a drop off in commitments will roll back the price.

As I understand it, right now we are just past the 60+ benchmark. I think it is always unrealistic, statistically speaking, to plan for 100% success of anything like this. So, the question remains, if the final numbers were to drop below 60 (or if we get to 105 indications and they drop off to less than 100) would the prices hold or jump back up to the previous level. Personally, I think it is a given that you won't get 100% follow through.

Thanks.

Terry, I understand your concern. I will not fail you. Trust me and my ability to get us the discount we deserve. The discount we have earned. I will not fail you. Just please go with me on this. We are at 63 now. If we drop below 60, I find it impossible to believe that our 60+ discount would not be honored. Pierre is a fair and understanding guy. I will make it happen. You have my word.

Let's just keep it positive and focus on getting to 100. Only 37 more to go! That needs to be our focus. Getting 37 more people on board. Turn the negative "what if's" into positive "what if's". This group buy will not fall apart. I give you my word as a man we will get the discount we expect to get. At these high numbers, who in their right mind would throw away a ton of sales in order to try to save a few pennies?

This is about a lot more than money. It's about global representation and advertising for this great company, from a global group of some real professionals.

Please, just get behind me on this one. I will not fail any of you.

Update:

Once the group buy ends, or once you've had to opportunity to see the final production unit with all new design changes, or whichever comes first, you will have 7 days to pay your deposit in order to retain your spot in line.

I hope this sets everyone's minds at ease :)

Good night!

If I was certain that the DJI Ronin would work with a RED One, I'd definitely be in. Anyone in this thread have any insight on that issue?

Stephen

Carey has been doing an excellent work in bringing people under his many Group buy offers.
If it needs a countdown, it needs a countdown, I'm glad he does it.

Thanks Carey.

Relax man I just found it funny, dont loose your sense of humour now.

6 more days...

How does that affect this..?

Since group buy ends Oct. 31 it looks like that will come first...so people have to get their deposit in by Nov. 7 even
it the final unit is not ready to see...?..please clarify..

No Steve, here's how it works:

1. The group buy ends Oct. 31st. No more names can be added to the list after then. The group buy will be officially closed and the list will be locked in.

2. The final production model of the Exoskeleton will be shown (this may happen before, or after the 31st). The 7 days do not start until after you've seen the final production model, no matter how long that takes.

3. Refundable deposits are then collected. You will have 7 days from the day I post the pics of the final production model, or from the 31st (if the pics have been posted by then), to pay your deposit in order to retain your spot in line. Note: You will not be excluded from the group buy for any reason, even if you don't pay your deposit within the 7 day period - you will just drop to the bottom of the list. The only way you will be taken off the list completely is if you voluntarily decide you want out, or if when the time comes to pay in full (just before shipping), you do not pay.

I hope that clears it up for everyone.
