  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Group Buy: L'Aigle Exoskeleton

I was to the SATIS today and i have briefly tested the new beta-version of the exoskeleton.

As shown in the photo of David, the arms have been replaced by ingenious iso-elastic tubes.
There are two lateral hooks that allows you to lock the tubes and thus allow to have your arms relaxed.
I have tested it with a ronin and a 5D, so i can tell you that i had absolutely no effort to do. The tubes support all the weight, it was like i had nothing in my hands.
The boom range of the tubes is quite impressive.
You can also take the lateral handles of the gimbal in the strap of the tubes provided for that, which allows you to hold the gimbal on the top handle, and allows user to switch to low mode easily.

By the way, Pierre Davezac is very pleasant and very professional.

Sounds exciting, any other pictures ?

Not sure what I am seeing, but I wouldn't be excited to have a foot of hardware extending out behind my backside.

There's no foot of hardware sticking out. The new design is going to be sleek and form-fitting. Please give me a little more time to get the pictures and info up.

Everything you are reading about this prototype is leaked information that does not represent the final product.

It's okay to start getting excited about the new design, but please keep specific details private until I reveal them.

Thank you all for your patience and support. This thing is going to revolutionize the way you shoot.

Kind of strange they would have a prototype at the show and not give reduser pics. Also surprised that nobody at the show has posted a good picture.

Go easy on those guys- you expect them to be professional cameramen or something?

I just shot half a day on the Ronin with the skinniest Epic package I can rig up and man, it's a workout.

Carey, please add me to the list of alternates... Thanks.

Of course,

To be clear, i have said that i have tested the new BETA version, NOT the final product of this group buy.

Actually, I don't want to sound too frenchy, but Reduser is not the center of the world. Sure there are a lot of pre orders here, but L'aigle has been selling a lot of stabilizers for 10 years, and I'm pretty sure
their usual steadycam operators-clients will buy their exos too. And that is exactly why I trust them. They are professionnals, with an already quite big user database here.
I'm sure the day after the end of the show, they will publish pictures for everyone.

Yes, it's incredibly difficult to create a perfectly composed shot, take after take, day after day, without any support.

The L'Aigle Exoskeleton solves this problem.

My well balanced Scarlet/Helix set-up weighs in at about 19 lbs. I think I need this.

It was not possible to take picture, and it was logical because this is not the final (official) version of the product.

I have a lot of picture, but i can not post it, because is not the final product, have to wait to have some picture from AIGLE.. :)

Thank you for respecting that David.

I will unveil the pictures, details and link to pay deposits very soon.

Please stay tuned.

Thank you all for your patience :)
