  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Group Buy: L'Aigle Exoskeleton

And I won't be loaning my unit out to other individuals until there is a proper setup video for other individuals to learn how to use it. How is a rental agency suppose to operate without documentation to give customers. So lack of a documentation does limit exposure of this product to other people. A US lawyer will sway any jury to award compensation if he shows the manufacturer failed to warn.

Finally, finally had a chance to test out Exo and I think I am too big for it. I am 6'2" with fairly wide shoulders and it cuts into the back of my arms and shoulders. I think I have it adjusted as long as possible but was wondering if anyone else is having similar problems? Have attached some pictures of it cutting into the back of my shoulders.

If the wings were positioned about 3-4 " wider it would fit past my shoulders. One of my guys tried it on and it seemed to not cut into him at all. He is 5'9" not as broad as me.

Anyone have any tips on better fitment or maybe I am not doing something correctly?

Thanks

I am also 6'2" and my shoulders are of average width. I have the same issue as you, although it is not quite as bad.

I had a shoot where I was having one of my people operate using the exo, and he was too tall/too wide of shoulders to fit inside the exo. It looked more like Jim's pictures on him and he said it was too uncomfortable. I ended up doing the operating for the exo shots.

This concerns me a bit guys. I'd love to hear more about it. I am not small.

+1 for this. I'm also broad shouldered and have had this issue. A few times the rollers have pinched me hard on the arms.

I have the same problem, I adjusted the vertical position of the arms all the way down and it is better, but not perfect.

Hi guys,

Just to let you know that I am selling my Exo on the same price I paid for this GB.

I recieved in June, no time to use / test is, brand new on his bag. My planning is really full and for the next months will be the same so I prefer to sold it now and use the money for the EVF I need everyday.

I am in France and the topic is here : http://www.reduser.net/forum/showthread.php?134908-L-Aigle-Exoskeleton-in-EU-(France)

Thanks

Pierre wrote me back and said to lower mounting block to under my shoulders and also to rotate the exo arms inward. He said tensioners wont be in my way anymore.

No idea on how to rotate them inward? Not sure if he means as I operate or actually move something on the vest and arms? Anyone have an idea?

I'll receive mine wednesday in London.
We can set a training session on friday or sunday afternoon for those who want to be ready the first day they receive it !

And hence why we really need better documentation and videos on how to properly adjust everything. it has been time consuming (and at times frustrating) constantly tweaking things blindly just to see what happens. Pierre are there any plans to get documentation and videos that explain the product a little better? It's a little frustrating to have this great piece of gear but not be able to use it to its full intended potential...

Good stuff, thanks for sharing Will, would have been great if the source could have done something like this a few months ago. Carey, just bought the velcro stuff, can't wait to try your solution.
Aloha

You're going to love it. Let us know how it goes. There's no other way to use this rig, in my opinion.

Hmm...... good find Will. But still no mention of how to adjust the long bolts on either side of the upper spring attachment point. Exhauss's own video shows them being driven in a long way with an electric drill with no mention of how far or why. If they're in too far, you can't get enough spring exposed to attach the arms. Mine arrived with one bolt having fallen out in transit. That's how shallow they were in. Seems it's all just guesswork, but shouldn't be. Not for a rig of this calibre.

If someone can resume how to adjust the long bolt, I'm interested too
