  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

GROUP BUY - Inovativ Scout NXT Carts!

Ok guys. So in terms of shipping. Patrick said they could ship out 100 units by the end of June. In order for that to happen though, you guys have to get your payments in ASAP, especially if you're one of the first 50 commitments, as he's trying to get the first 50 out the door by the 16th of June, which is drastically sooner than what was stated before. Around 46 people have paid so far, which is less than half, so if you want your cart sooner, get your payment in, otherwise it may go back to the original terms of delivery dates.

Hey Chris, I nominate that the first 50 to pay be rewarded with the June 16th shipping date. This might motivate quicker payments, but it also just seems to be fair (considering everyone on the list has had plenty of time to order/pay at this point). Because the payment and shipping timeline has adjusted since original post, to me it makes sense to adapt the delivery priority appropriately. What do you think? (You can tell I'm anxious/hopeful to get into the June 16th group being #53 & #54 on this thread, but having paid for my order last week ;) )

Regardless, thanks for organizing this group buy!

Super excited and hit the send button before I said Thank you Chris!

Likely repeating this question but for you experienced users which accessories can you not live without?

upgrading foot brakes only?

upgrading foot brakes only?

Aside from upgrading to the whole lightweight wheel assembly, does anyone know if it's possible just to upgrade the brakes? Curious if these EVO foot brakes can be mounted to the NXT's aluminum wheel assembly.

And +1 to the question of what accessories people consider must-haves.

Thanks again, Chris!

5/8" baby pin system for sure.
cable hooks are cool too, but you could also throw cables over the handles.
anddddd the robocup (not an INOVATIV accessory, but fantastic to have)

That's what's gonna happen. If we all get our payments in by June 9th, Patrick still thinks he can have roughly 100 still go out by the end of June. But, we should all still try and get the payments in ASAP so delivery dates can be sooner.

The mast riser systems are amazing...allow you to mount all kinds of thinks - monitors, gimbals, etc. Also, the 100mm ball plates are great too for sticking tripod heads on the cart.

I don't believe that's possible as the brakes for the NXT wheels are built into the wheel housing itself, so you'd have to swap out the entire assembly, but I'll confirm for you.

Thanks for looking into the brake system upgrade, Chris. I'm guessing it won't work, but worth a shot.

Another question for all the users in general: do the 100mm and 150mm ball plates also interface with a mitchell base? I know they can be screwed to the Horseshoe mount, but it also looks like they may have a keyway similar to how mitchell heads fit onto the mitchell base. It would be great to have a mitchell base setup for bigger work, and then just add the 100mm if going with my personal setup. Anyone know?

I'll check on this for you.

Got your answer, yes they do interface with the mitchell base! :-)

+1 for the 37". Would love to pick it up in person vs. having it shipped. Let me know if I can do that. Thanks Chris!
