  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

GROUP BUY - INOVATIV APOLLO CART!

I just checked out the cart. This is a beast. Not for people who need to travel by folding it up frequently. Its a set it up and roll on the truck kind of cart. Very solid and functional with the quality you'd expect from them. Old cart accessories won't work with it BTW. Great bunch of guys at Innovativ. I still love my scout!

I would love to see some video of the setup and tear down if possible. Maybe someone that is still at NAB could take a quick video to show us. Looking forward to learning more about this cart!

Thanks everyone!

I'll ping Pat to see if he can shoot something simple, since I'm in the middle of a major move. It's not as easy as the Scout, but it's pretty easy for how big/heavy the thing is. It's all tool-less, to it's quick.

Chris,

Is there a picture of the Hi-Hat rails?

Did not see it in the accessory listings for Apollo on the Inovativ site.

You mentioned that the accessories for my Scout are not interchangeable with Apollo.
Does that hold true for the Hi-Hat rails as well?

Really liking the improvements I'm seeing on this cart.
The internal masts could be a prelude to building a black out tent for confidence monitors and/or DIT work.

Please put me down for a Apollo 40" NXT with the premium wheel system and hi hat rails!

Most of the accessories are interchangeable between the carts (as per Patrick). I should have a picture by the end of the day of the high hat rails.

Does the old 5/8 baby pin system work with this cart?

I believe so...checking for you

Hi Chris, is the top shelf height adjustable like the older models? If not, how high is the top shelf.

It's not height adjustable and the top shelf stands at 40.5" for the Evo wheels, and 41.5" for the nXT wheels.

I know a lot of people who are trying to get added to the GB via email. You MUST respond in this thread in order to participate in this GB.

I also know RU has been having issues with generating new accounts or people who have forgotten their passwords. I think it's being worked on now.

Thanks for adding the pics of the Hi-Hat rails Chris.

Looks like it would be a choice between the bottom drawer or the rails for the Hi-Hat.
In either case, something would protrude when the Apollo is collapsed for transport.
Was hoping for a solution that would fit on the verticals like the Yeager design.
That would disappear into the cart when collapsed.

As Bob Gundu pointed out, this is more like a truck cart - which can be really useful.
Still likely to add my name to the list before the GB is over.

Yea...this one is built like a tank, and not ideal to constantly be collapsing and building. With a 1200lb weight capacity, it can hold whatever you throw at it, which is nice to have for sure. Let me know when/if you want to be added. We'll hit the top tier no problem since there are at least 10+ people who've emailed me trying to setup a RU account.

Love the video Chris, thanks for sharing.

Would really love to see a video with different accessories also. Like the mitchell mounts for tripod head and others.
