  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Do you know if these will work with other models? I have an Eclipse 500 and I think they all have the same chips in them, you just have to select the right (often not corresponding channel)?
Let me know as then I'd be in for the 500ft.

I'm almost positive ALL ghost eye products work with one another, but will double check for you.

I think only the Ghost Eye series only works together...so I don't think the Eclipse series will work with the Ghost Eye

Yes the 600MP unit will work with the 150M kit you have but the channels may not be sinced up 1-to-1. Meaning you would need to have one of the recievers off set from the transmitter.
 
Meaning you would need to have one of the recievers off set from the transmitter. - so I can use my 150 receiver as a 2nd reciever..........? i would order the 600MP kit - and now have two receivers that talk to the transmitter. one just purchased and one from my 150 kit. ?
 
Hey there Kirby,

Yes you would get the 600MP kit and use your 150M reciever as a secondary receiver. What I mean by the reciever needing to be off set is that you may have the 600MP kit on channel 1 and the 150M reciever on channel 2, and we can help you to determine which channels will work best.

is this normal that it's so terribly noisy ?

I don't mean the signal, but as soon as turn it on, the fan is really too loud.
I feel like I'm back in the DSMC1 days, except it doesn't turn off when recording.

I have the 600MP.

The Paralinx and Amimon sets I had for years were so quiet, I didn't even think it was an issue with wireless TX/RX these days.

This is a major issue when recording sound. It's more than an issue, as it's a turn off. (ahah)

Oh man. I’m waiting for mine and I hope it’s not that loud. Are both the transmitter and receiver that loud?

Can you record some sound of it? Like just a quick iPhone video? You shouldn’t be having fan/noise issues
 
I heard about the fan issues with the 600M, but I thought it was solved.
Is it an issue only with the 600M and MP? how about the 500?

I would go for either 600MP or 500M, once I know more about the fan noise

not sure yet for either the 500M or 600Mplus

1) would love to know about the fan noise? I thought from feedback I read on bh that the M plus fixed fan noise? -- is the 500M less noisy then the 600M plus
2) would the 500M work with the 600M plus Eng transmitter too? and woud in this case the distance be 500M?
