  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

GROUP BUY - Ghost Eye Wireless Video Systems

Hey everyone! I wanted to help break down some of our great features with our Ghost-Eye products!

- All products come equipt with SDI and HDMI and are fully cross compatible!
- If you see "ENG" next to a unit you are interested in that means that the transmitter comes equipt with power pass through! This allows you to power your transmitter and camera with one battery!
- All product range is calculated in meters. For reference 1 meter is over 3 feet! Meaning that our 500M kit with a range of 500 meters is over 1500 feet!!

I got delivered from my reseller, but they sent me the wrong kit, so I'll return it, and buy from this GB.
You can add me for one 1:2 kit 600Mp. I'm still thinking about vlock or not, but if it's a discount code, I guess I can wait till the payment.

EDIT :

Anyone noticed that the extra receiver on 600Mplus is 769.45 on the regular version, and 1237.50 on the vlock version ? yet it's the same unit. It's the same simple ratio applied to the unit price.

Gotcha down! Yes, it's a discount code, so you don't need to decide until you place the order.

The 600M Plus unit which has the internal antennas on the receiver has a range of 300 meters. This is one of the key differences between the 600M Plus and the 600M which is why the M Plus is on such a great sale. It has half the distance as the M.
 
Really interested in this. A few questions:

1) What are the sizes of each unit for the 500M and 600MP kits?

2) Does the discount cover an additional receiver with the kits?

3) On the 600MP can the NP battery plates be removed without leaving something exposed that shouldn't be?

4) Will the 500M still work at close range (<20ft) with no antennas attached? Or does it always need them?

5) What is the "4 week rental - full kit" option an does it apply here?

6) Are these all truly cross compatible? I can sent to/receive from *any* other ghost eye unit?

7) Is there anything the 500M can't do that the 600MP and 600M can do?

8) Does the 500M have any mounting points other than the 1/4-20 one on the back of the unit? Anything on the base of the units?

The 600MP is only 300M? That’s quite deceiving... if the 600MP is only 300M distance then I’ll take the 500M please.

To answer your questions:

1. - 600MP RX:5.5x4 inches (without antennas)
- 600MPTX: 6x3 inches (without antennas)
- 500MRX: 6.5x4.5 inches (without antennas)
- 500M TX: 5.5x3 inches (without antennas)

2. Yes the discount covers up to 1 additional receiver.

3. No the NP battery plate cannot be removed with our leading something exposed.

4. No the antennas always need to be on when using the Ghost-Eye kits.

5. The rental option does not apply to the discount. It allows customers to rent a full kit for 1 month (4 weeks) to see if they like it or not.

6. Yes within reason. There may be some models that you need to off set the channels so they will not be transmitter 1-to-1 but they will still be working.

7. No. The main difference in the 500M is that there are no battery on either unit. They must be powered by the 2-pin lemo to d-tap power cable that comes in the kit.

8. Yes both the receiver and the transmitter have a 1/4-20 mounting point on the bottom in addition to the ones on the front and back side.

Ok. I'm in for a 500m with extra receiver.

Do we have to use the code right away? Headed out of town and don't want anything being delivered while I'm away so would like to wait until mid-may to put in the order.
