Thanks again Owen for this group buy.
Just ordered and made full payement for two schneider filters.
One of the filters is back order for 1 or 2 weeks, I bet it is two.
Of course it wasn't mention on Schneider web site and Abel cine didn't mention the back order either when they send me the final bill.
I should be the unlucky one, but for the people who are thinking ordering some Schneider filters, better ask for their avalability to Abel cine before the final payment.
By the way the back order filter is a lowcon 1/8 4.5.65

Very well orchestrated. Schneider's arrived earlier than expected, save the Blackmagic...also backordered X?2 weeks. Really top notch service from Abelcine.

Not that top notch service for me.
I did ordered 2 filters, one was back ordered for one or two weeks.
I decided to wait for the missing filter to ship them together.
Now after three weeks time the two filters are back ordered, and I have 1 more week to wait.
They should fucking kidding me, as Abelcine had no problem to take my money asap, without notifying their was an unavailability problem.
I don't know what is retaining me to block their Paypal account.
End of the rant.

I'm in the backorder wait from Schneider as well.

I don't care that they are backordered, but I do care that I was not told they were backordered until after I placed my order and paid for it.

Even Amazon tells you within ten seconds if your item is in stock or if there will be a delivery delay, unfortunately that is the type of service marketplace we are in now.

For anyone planning a shoot or expecting a quick delivery, it would be important to know this and that is why I share my experience.

True story David,

totally understand. I was told it was on back order before I paid but was assured I'd have it before my shoot starts September 8th so I went ahead with my purchase. Guess they dropped the ball when you ordered unfortunate but it happens from time to time.

I've on the other hand ordered dtap cables from small HD and the first was defect. Second was crushed in transport so now i'm waiting my 3rd delivery. Some times you just have to laugh and hope for the best..
