Not to sidetrack this, Chris, but has anyone come up with a solid solution for people like me who are definitely well over the average person's height?
I find myself either on sticks or handholding the camera against my chest just to get things eye-level because shoulder rigs have always made me peer down at people.
I bought one of these when they had their NAB flash sale. It's a great rig. Used it for the first time last week and shot a two hour verite scene and didn't feel like I was going to fall apart afterward. Highly recommended!
Put me down for one please.
Jesse Feldman, who created the ErgoRig is a friend and a great operator. He has designed a great piece of kit here and if you spend any significant time doing handheld, you need this. In my twenty eight years of operating, I’ve done a lot of handheld and at one time or another I have owned or tried everything out there to try and help make handheld better and have less fatigue. The ErgoRig does both. It is built tough and has great attention to detail without over complicating things. You can’t go wrong and getting a discount is even better.
My two cents.
