  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Can you request Patric to accept orders on RR since this R2 thing is getting delayed please?

We are going to purchase the R2 anyway. At least in our case, we are going in to production Nov 15th, 2017. I need to train my assistants and camera personnel how to use these contraptions.
 
100% this... please don't hold up the R2 orders for drone equipment. While the X7 sounds exciting, in my view, it should be separate. We're already more than a week beyond the original timeline, and GB's are complicated enough without adding last-minute changes, right? :)

Agreed,
Codes were supposed to be out by yesterday. Don't add additional gear that doesn't pertain to the Ronin2 which is what this group buy was for. Make a separate group buy for other pieces of gear instead of stalling this one.

Based on the message from Soren, the R2 is being handled completely separately from the Inspire 2 already. He said the Ronin 2 coupon code won't be affected and should be generated shortly. The delay we're experiencing is completely independent of the Inspire 2/X7 thing.

Edit: Just placed my order now! Thanks, Soren & Chris!

Also, just in case anybody else was wondering like I was, Affirm is an acceptable payment option even with the coupon code.

Hey guys

Are these codes good for a period of time? I ask cause I was going to place my order and hope to get it before my shoot in Africa (I have to cross to the US border to pick up my shipment) but it won't be delivered before I leave. So I'm wondering if I can order it in mid november with the codes provided and theyll still be valid???

Order placed at 5am nyc time today. Already calling the name for my R2 as R2D2
 
Thanks for getting the codes out! I'm having trouble checking out though -- there is no option to select a country other than United States for shipping.
 
Also, if the X7 is now coming into this GB can I add to my order? I'd like an Inspire 2 and X7 + full Lens set

If it's easier I'd prefer a code for R2 now and then another one for my Inspire package later.

Hi guys,

I sent out the codes go generated today (like 40-ish), the rest of the codes are being generated and should be ready by dawn here.

I will send out the rest once I got them.
 
I was number 6 on the list and have still not received my code. What happened to our place in line?

Good question. People with #s south of 50's & 60's got their codes and placed orders ahead of all others. I hope DJI would honor your place on the list.
 
Not likely.
I messaged Soren within hours of the group buy opening. The only holdup was Soren's mailbox getting full later on but I had already gotten my first message with my order in. That's not on me though and I shouldn't be penalized for that.
