Hi everyone,

Wanted to get some early feelers on interest in doing a Group Buy for the new Hypercore XL? Huge capacity – near 300 watt – with a huge 15 amp sustained draw (peak 20 amps) in a similar form factor to the rest of the Hypercore line. Battery is the same horizontal and vertical measurement as their Slim, but about double the thickness and triple the total capacity (3.8” x 5.87” x 2.95”).

My thought is those Hypercore Mini's we did a Group Buy for last time are super great for small light travel, short runs. These XL units would be amazing for longer camera runs, or heck – we're most excited about getting more of our LEDs on V-mount. These batteries can output as much sustained amp as the typical household outlet.

Thoughts?

I just pre-ordered the EVO -- it is a battery between the V-mount and the battery so that you can change batteries without losing power and has a lot of other benefits. They also make one that fits direct. This would also be great for a group buy. I would be in for a couple of XL's as well.

fyi- I purchased 3 Core batteries and the LCD display failed on two of them within 3 months. I'm not the only one who has had issues with the LCD-

All 12 of ours are running strong! Having that LCD on the back has been one of the best parts of the battery.
