Thanks Sergio, you are on the list.
I was getting roughly 2 hours of runtime on my Epic-W and that was usually with the 7" monitor.
So I would expect a bit longer of a runtime with the smaller monitor.

Hi Cameron,

I thought that the HCM-9R was needed to communicate % remaining to Red cameras... but I just read in one of your other replies that that's only for DSMC1 cameras. Can you please 100% confirm that the 'normal' HCM-9 v-mounts can communicate % with DSMC2 cameras? I don't need communication with DSMC1.

Also, I was filming when the link went out for the first wave of shipments. Should I still fill that out now? Or will a new link be sent?

This quote directly from CoreSWX describes the differences between the 9R and 9S
"The 9S and 9R are physically the same.
The only differences are:
9R communicates % to DSMC1 and DSMC2
9S communicates % to DSMC2 and other SMBus compatible cameras and devices. "

Just got my batteries a few days ago. Noticed that the shark fin didn’t make it onto the invoice. Is this because it’s still a preorder, or are the accessories being handled differently?

Might have missed a post about it, but does the new shark fin communicate battery % to the DSMC2 bodies? I have the regular shark fin with HC9R batts and Red Bricks and I only get a voltage readout.

Hi Homer,

The shark fin will only communicate voltage information to the camera. the battery's LCD will provide accurate remaining runtime information.

Sorry Mark, at least 1 HC9 needs to be purchased to be eligible for any accessories. This is the "HC9 Mini Group Buy". Everything additional is just a bonus for joining in.
