  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

GROUP BUY - Core SWX EVO Battery Backup Module

The official EVO-DSMC2 product includes the MOD 24 module. For this group buy, the MOD 24 isn’t included in the DSMC2 upgrade.

Hey Ryan,

Thanks for your interest! We've decided to add a DSMC2 modification to this group buy. The modification will cost an additional $500 and will include a DSMC2 backing only. The MOD24 is sold separately. With the T3 discount unlocked, the total cost will come to $850.

if you are interested, you can use these codes for ordering:

For V-Mount to DSMC2: EV-DSMC2
For Gold Mount to DSMC2: EG-DSMC2

Hey Kyle,

The EVO-V can be used with any V-Mount camera or device. With the order of an EVO, you will qualify for a 20% discount. You can use this discount on any item from CoreSWX - including the new CXV-FX9 plate.

I would also like to purchase a couple other things to take advantage of the 20% discount. Do I make the purchases at the end of should I inform you now on what additional items I would like to get?

Is it even possible to have the MOD12 instead of the MOD24 module on the DSMC2 module as I don't see this option on their site?

Thanks for the order! Yes, the MOD12 will work with the DSMC2 mount.
 
Does the 3-pin fisher on the MOD24 trigger R/S in the camera? This would be amazing but not sure how the voltage would get sent down the chain. Looking at the EVO-G, not the DSMC2 one.

Ah bummer, was guessing since it wasn't labeled as such. That's a dealbreaker for me and my setups. Would have loved to jump in on this, it looks like a great product!
