  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Here are some photos from outside under the bright sun and without the sun hood.
My iPhone wasn't able to pick up the high contrast image on the monitor but you can still get the idea.

What is the status of this group buy?
I want to put together a group buy for the Bon FM-073SCH (the new model coming out around late November or early December). I personally ordered one already but I found out that I can make a really amazing deal for both RedUser and Steadicam-Ops forum members. If this group buy has ended or not have enough interests, I will start the new one for the 073SCH.

Is the 73 a big upgrade from the 72?

I think the Group Buy is a good idea if the discount is good. Personally I've still looking at the Ikan or the Bon - but, the newer Bon offers more at the same or lower price point, then it would be interesting :)

Mmm - that approx 15% (if working from a 2200 base) - so not that good really.

One thing, if the 72 is being replaced by the 73, there should be a few cheaper deals on the 72... as it's EOL.
 
Andy, I won't go into details here but I can tell you that the discount rate should be somewhere around 20-25% or maybe more -)

Bob - did a quick search and links are below for a compare/contrast... I'm full of flu ATM, they're from a Euro dealer. The Bon site lists stuff as well, but takes an age to load, so this faster :)

Looks like refinements... wonder if it has a X2 mode (the Odyssey 7 is missing this at the moment).

Liking the sound of that... especially the 'maybe more' bit :)

Stuff always ends up costing a lot to get to the UK, so savings are useful all round.
 
Currently planning on small hd but this is getting interesting.
