Having an issue with about 5 clips in a short film we are cutting. We are getting a few 1 pixel green vertical lines that flicker in and out of the shot.
From reading the forums I understand that this may have been a camera sensor issue, but has anyone dealt with this in post or is there any work around other than compositing. We are seeing it in proxy, prores and full 4k r3d files in color, and I have tried converting it in FCP 6&7

Any help in this matter would be huge as we master next wednesday

thanks
Alec.

I think I would figure out the extent of the problem (IE: how many shots make it to the final cut and then I would use SHAKE clone tool to paint out the 1 pixel line) in the affected shots.

If they are on the edge of frame you could consider blowing up the shot.

A 1 pixel line should be a fairly easy fix.

I have heard of this happening on camera's that are running hot. You could also try doing a black shading calibration.
