I've backed up the footage using r3d data manager onto a pegasus R6. Everything works fine and plays back in Redcine. I also export proxies which work fine as well but when I transcode those proxies to prores422LT in compressor I'm getting mostly clips with just green screen in playback. This work flow was working fine while I was testing but now it seems to not transcode the whole file judging by the file size of the green clips as opposed to the transcoded clips that work. I can get the first clip to transcode properly sometimes, usually after restart of mac, but I haven't tested enough to know for sure why the first clip transcodes fine but all others don't...temperature issue maybe? I'm transcoding straight from Redcine at the moment to see if that works but I was hoping someone out there could help me out with this problem.

*Redcine successfully transcoded a clip and I've been able to successfully trancode single clips in compressor but I'm still getting the bad transcodes for the most part.

thanks
