Hey folks, so I have an issue after updating my blackshade from the previous firmware (not the beta one with ipp2).
After both auto, or manual blackshades a few minutes of shooting will result in the left third ofthe frame having crazy green spikey lines through it. this dissapears when I use the old blackshade from before the firmware update. Anyone have this issue and know of a fix?

this is the issue https://drive.google.com/open?id=1GmCFnPPOn1a8Wz4ntZRe_T5DYXJ8urHZ-w

Thanks folks.

Hey David,

I'm experiencing the same issue, and have been since January. I think I've spoken with two other individuals who have experienced this as well. At this point, RED hasn't been very helpful in actually rectifying the problem--my camera has been back twice, and looks like it needs to be sent in again.

That being said, yours appears worse than mine ever did. Hard to tell from the screen shot if your camera was up to temp though, is the T yellow? They'll certainly point it out if it wasn't.

Good luck, David.

Ah that is a huge bummer. I can't even send mine in right no because I have shoots ongoing I need it for and using my old blackshade isn't really killing me. It happens for me after it comes up to temperature. All green. Really strange, and a crappy problem to have. I guess I'll wait until I have a gap in shoots to send it in and see how that goes.

Exactly what I've been seeing. Takes the camera being pretty warm to appear. Mine's exclusively on the left side of the image. I unfortunately can't use an old blackshade to make it disappear.

I will say, while sending the camera in, RED was pretty good about providing a loaner. Good luck and keep me up to date with how it goes!
