we have had some green on the edge of footage when operating the epic at very cold (-30 degree celsius) temperatures. any only else seeing this?

If it's a linear discoloration, and does not change depending on exposure, then I bet it can be minimized or eliminated in post with a color-correction vignette.

Sounds like you need todo a black shading at the cold shooting temp. There have been posts about uneven images before the camera warms up to black shade temp. Not sure it will solve the problem, but I'd give it a go if you haven't tried that yet.

20+ minutes for black shading calibrations for so many different reasons/shooting situations...I hope some solution from our friends at Red comes along soon -the idea of presets based on given exposures, frame rates, etc.- that can happen so we don't have to keep doing this at the risk of compromising a given shoot.

I've not had this happen when shooting at -20 celsius but I usually turn on the camera in a vehicle prior to stepping outdoors to shoot...didn't have any lens issues, images recorded fine. Though we do end up changing ISOs and frame rates.

Since I've not had any problems I haven't been as diligent as others as far as calibrating every week or even more frequently, but these posts about calibrating all the time definitely raises concern. I don't know whether I should be thankful that everything is working as it should, or be prepared to expect problems, and thereby create additional work to an already hectic schedule.

sorry for the delay team here is a screen grab:

Blimey thats not normal.
I had the gradient issue today and had to run the camera for an hour to get it to go today - never experienced this. Is it on everything you have shot, maybe just a dodgy SSD card? Or is it cropping up on several different cards?

(pics arent showing up for me using Chrome BTW had to move to Safari.

That is looking like a bad connection inside. Maybe just reseating it will fix it but definitely not a user serviceable component. Best to contact Red. It will probably get worse with more temperature cycles and age.
