Great Tool EPIC Power Package "Proteus" + "Electra" + V-Mount / AB

Good day . Nice not Red I/O Power Module for EPIC . Very Expensive tool 2700 USD :)

http://www.innocinema.com/product_info.php?products_id=245

Everything that i can need to power accessories and etc . But did i really need it . I like when my camera looks nice , and all my ASK are connected without extra adapter cables , with small nice cables . But but but . Will RED I/O module provide sow many comfort as this IO module dose ?
And also may be any other manufactories are planing to do something same ? and charge 1/2 price ?
Any Ideas , your comments . What you think about this module ?

Beautifully designed, but when $600 gets you a v-lock back from Wooden Camera (with DTAP), it's hard to justify spending that much. Side-handle with a RedVolt provides power for hot-swaps, as I understand it.

I'm surprised we haven't seen more users posting about these. Action Products seem to have many problems solved in a very cool way. This is what I plan on getting…. It is a shame though that the top plate they have doesn't supply 2 sdi ports, thats what is really needed...

Yep , Dual SDI is very good option . Even if EPIC PRO I/O will have 4 SDI output , this solution is better .
It is smaller , and looks very strong .

Agree with you . But no Lemo Connectors and now 4 min back up power .

RedVolt in the side handle gives you at least 25 minutes back-up power. DTAP to Lemo cables should be feasible if your aks don't support DTAP.

you dont need it to shoot.
bit if you want to shut up AC`s working in a cinestyle enviroment, well the electra is imho THE must have assecoire (+ the cheesetopplate)
worth every single penny.

makes AC´s very happy....and erases xmas tree jokes :)

I bought all the action product accessories, apollo top plate, bottom plate with audio XLR's........and i have ordered the Electra + protues + vlock
they are made with precision, look & feel rugged and will supply all the power needs for 12-24V accessories...........very clever engineering.
Ohh and a lot smaller too than the RED PRO I/O by the looks of it..........who wants to add another 4-5 inches to the back of there camera......then a vlock plate behind that.......
the whole thing starts getting as long as the RED ONE or an ALEXA

Mine should arrive late January .

For cinstyle, the whole ActionProducts tools are an obvious choice.
You can power an external monitor, a wireless follow focus, wireless transmitter, converter, cinetape, and the redmote !
Just order lemo cables just the size you need + some 15mm or 19mm cable holder , and you have a really nice setup.
Don't forget to get some extra batteries though, it will drain a lot.

As Kaya said, it will save you from the AC praising Alexa and Arri accessories and bashing your camera.

For lenght it should be like 34cm with the I/O module. Roughly the same size as the Red one without batteries on the back.

Small notes : the AP module doesn't have extra SDI. Only one port.
Small notes : I've just seen redrock released some 15mm tie, for 19mm I can't find any so I looked a bit in my gear... Microphone stand's cable holder works, you just have to tight them a bit.
