Hi all. . .

I am switching from Nikon to Canon for the Birger mount and I have listed seven different GREAT (and I mean MINT) Nikon lenses on Ebay. Two of them sold instantly. Get 'em while they're hot.

Do a search for seller "umkcprof" and let the bidding begin!

I have three more I'll be listing eventually, including the 50mm f1.4, the 135mm f2.0 and the 180mm f2.8.

Email with any questions.

Alexander. . . what have you purchased?

I picked up the Tokina 11-16 (Canon), the Canon f2.8 16-35L USM II, and the Canon 85mm f1.2L USM II. I'm going to be buying the 24mm f1.4 (also a Mark II lens), and the 50mm f1.2 (it isn't a Mark II, but it does have the new coatings).

tokina 11-16
14mm 2.8 ii
24mm 1.4 ii
50mm 1.2 ii
85mm 1.2 ii
100mm 2.8 macro

i kept the nikon 80-200 for now and use it with a cheap canon-nikon adapter (pull focus manually and it has a manual aperture ring)

was looking into 135mm 2.0 and 35mm 1.4 but there are rumors that newer markII versions of them will be released this year

Hey. . . where did you find a 50mm MK II. . . I have never even seen it mentioned anywhere? Are you sure that's what you have?

And why get the 14mm when you have the Tokina? They are both 2.8. In my case, I'm only buying primes when they are faster than the zooms. I got the 16-35 because I find that it is in the wides that I need more flexibility. With the Tokina and the 16-35, I can go from 11 to 35 with only 1mm of overlap. I want the 24 f1.4 just for the speed when I need to shoot in unusually low light.

I want a 50mm II, but I have never seen one. . .

Why not consider the Leica Summicron's and Summilux with Canon Convertor on them. Manual but very, very good.

Because we're using the Birger mount with a wireless follow-focus. We crave electronics. . .

mostly all of them are slightly used. was hunting for them locally and on ebay. got 85 & 50mm from a local photographer. they are hard to find, but i think major retailers will restock on them soon.
i got a 14mm (which is full frame and a great lens) with 5dmark ii which i use for stills and carry around with me now everywhere i go just in case.
11-16 is for smaller sensors, but perfect for red.
