  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Grateful...

Jim and the whole RED team,
You have built a phenomenal camera (RED ONE first and now EPIC) and a great community. So I thank you for your great work. I bought the RED ONE almost 2 years ago, and I felt, I knew, from the begining, that you were the right company. A company made of people for the people, a small company, but a big family.
You have a costumer forever. Loyalty is important for me.

Thanks for your hard work. Without your ideas and your passion, nothing would have changed.

it seems like the people are taking technology into their own hands these days...

Thank you for your openess about the process along the way - you listening to us bitching - you actually responding in person to our ideas frustrations dreams - thank you for building this camera system.

Keep overcoming expectations and you've got my full patience. I would rather buy the camera I want to buy tomorrow than have one that's 'ok' today.

The world is full of compromises--but don't compromise on what's important. Don't cut corners to save a penny. That's what defines Red. I look forward to you continuing this trend.

Thank You and God Bless You

Thank You and God Bless You

Truly appreciate your customer focus attitude, we all who have the red and participate on reduser truly know what it is to have a company which takes it customers into consideration when making and after selling a product. Have been making films and buying cameras for over 20 years, this is the first time one feels EMPOWERED as user and buyer.

Thanks once again Jim and RED.

Thanks Jim for considering us that way !

Almost any aspect of my life during the last years are in some way "Red" branded.
Up and down, pro and personal.

Thanks Jim. Thanks Jarred.

I can't remember all names, from Ace to Zakaree. Just let me say thanks to all of you guys.

Jim,

The best way I can think of to say "Thank you" and "Your welcome" is to share a quote from Rodney Taylor, ASC. I was listening to an interview w/ him about "That Evening Sun," which he DP'd. This film was shot on 35mm film using old anamporphic lenses and was photochemically finished--no DI. He is known for his love of film.

That said, here's a quote of Rodney near the end of the interview. I think it sums up what you've said Red is all about:

"It's interesting to me. It's always. you know, flim has been held up as the standard for many years now. And people are always trying to get to film. I feel like, why don't we try to get beyond film? Like why don't we, you know, why don't we invent a digital camera that's beyond film? Why don't we have a post process that's beyond film? That's what we should all be striving for. I mean I love film, but at the end of the day, if you put tool in my hand that's better I'm going to use it."

Never too big to be right here...

Jim

Jim.
how do i put this? you are the model every company head needs to
emulate. Just as the product you put out have been emulated.I think we more appropriately need to sa Thank you!!!

I tend to read a lot more than I contribute, but reading the January update thread, I'm now hopeful that I'll be a Red customer before the years out and might be able to contribute a little more in the future.

Despite all the negatives floating around the web, I've taken a lot with me from this forum. It's a two way street I guess, cheers!

Thanking you, Jim, is a little like thanking my pusher for getting me hooked. Only difference is, nobody but the pusher makes a living out of smack. Thanks Jim.

Jim... I'm sure I speak for all when I say it is not only a pleasure, but an honor to be a part of the program, and an influence on your company and it's products.
It is such a refreshing way of doing business.

I truly believe that the business model RED (and a few other companies) have developed will be a standard in most future practices.

All I will add one more point... Rock on.
