Grading suite. I planning on something like this: Davinci Resolve Light, going through Blackmagic of some kind into my Eizo LCD, and a seperate output from Blackmagic into a monitor, which has an inbuilt RGB parade scope. Anyone know of a cheap monitor with RGB parade? I don't need the zoom, and all the fancy shit on the scope, just an RGB parade.

I like the scopes on Davinci Resolve, but they update too slow, and I need something that works independantly of the computer.

Thanx!

PS.
Yes I've heard of the USB3 Blackmagic dongle, but I was looking into something which does not need another computer on my decluttered table.

Look into Blackmagic UltraScopes:

$695 list, but you need an external desktop, a card, and a display. I don't like the fact that the scopes are not moveable and configurable (compared to, say, a $20,000 Tektronix scope), but you can't beat it for the money.

There is a delay going through the UltraScope (even more than within the program), but I got used to it in a day or two. And I've been using scopes for over three decades. This is the price you pay for not having external hardware scopes.

I would worry far more about the calibration of the display being used for color correction than the scopes. Scopes are easy; calibration is harder.
