Hey Everyone,

I have been noticing a bunch of these grade my r3d threads and thought I'd see if anyone would give a go at grading some r3d's from a ww2 short film I recently shot. It's a dark film, so I think the grade should be on the gloomy/dark side but I'm open to anything really as long as you have fun and it looks good! I have been really impressed with a lot of the grades people have posted on the threads, so I'm really excited to have my own r3d's graded!

Thanks so much!

here is the link to the r3d's. There are 10 files.

Wow, these look amazing! Thanks so much guys, this is really such a treat to see all these different styles/grades for the film.

@Alan - Love the desaturated look you got going on and the its just the right amount of contrast, Looks fantastic!

@Rami - Nice work, this looks great! This is a very cool direction to go in!

@Filip - I love it, curious to see that grade on the some other clips.

@Juan - Looks awesome! I don't think it's to dark overall, maybe just the interior nazi shot the background could be a little brightened.

@Corey - This looks crazy cool! Not even sure how u were able to achieve this!

@Francisco - I shot this on my Epic-X and used Zeiss ultra primes. Very lovely glass -- sharp, great colors/skin tones, build, etc.

Wow what glass and cam did you use?

Ive seen this question asked a couple times on this thread, and many other times on various other threads.. and no offense to the people who ask, but it irks me to death when i see this question...

it doesn't matter what glass or camera he used.. the fact of the mater is, he know how to light and shoot.. give the same equipment to someone who has no eye for composition or lighting, and they will come out with amateur looking photography.. I understand the curiosity.. but the equipment really doesn't matter

Really nice source material Brandon, good stuff. I would like to see you submit this to the RED Fest if possible.

Nicing grading everyone, some really impressive grades on here.
