Mahlzeit! :wink5:

I doubt it suits your intent, but I like the look anyway...

Hey Sabovic, Nice skintones, looks great! Thank you! Do you speak German? Dankeschön!

Na logo, was wäre ich für 'ne Weltklasse wenn ich kein Deutsch könnte?!

Of course I do, be my guest! Bitteschön!:driving:

I agree. Great skintones Sabovic. Care to share the process? :)

Actually, no process to it. I just exported a dpx frame out of RCXP, imported it in my NLE, selected the "log" wokingspace, and that's it - basic "film color".

P.S.
That NLE isn't made no more so I'm too embarrassed to even say it's name - don't ask.

It doesn't matter, all that matters is that it looks great in the end. So good job, regardless of what softwares you used.

Thank You, Jacob, those are very kind words - much appreciated!
I, kinda, like to stick to what I know, be it software or hardware. My audio monitors, for example, are 20+ years old, I and wouldn't switch to anything else, not because I have the best sounding speakers in the world, but because I know them inside out.
I guess I'm too afraid of the change...

Don't fix what isn't broken. ;-)

Here are some redcine one lights that might get you started.

You have some tricky mixed lighting scenarios to solve to make those 2 shots look like the same scene - After a one light, some masked adjustments to bring the magenta out of the shadow side of the face and neutralize the grays/blacks in the image without oversaturating the skin would be good.

Also, IMHO I think there is some cool reflections of the pan in the glass, so I don't think you should crush that out. ANd some masked adjustments on the noodles to correct saturation and hue would be simple.

If the spot is for a brand, I'd neutralize all the metal - there are mixed hues in it.

If the spot is for cooking lifestyle - then I'd focus on the chef and adjust the cooking shots to match that -

Attached are some RMDs and jpgs for reference.

Sorry guys, I'm a Color Grading noob, still waiting for my Raven to really get into this.

I don't know how to get the bloom out of the first one, I didn't want to sharpen it out of the image, but It would probably match better with the second shot.
