Is there anyway to avoid the gpu running out of memory during a long transcode? Or a way to reset it mid transcode? I have a 1080 8gb and im transcoding 8k raw to 4k proxies.

To follow up, After starting a transcode, eventually the gpu memory fills up and I get the warning "out of memory on the gpu (CUDA)". the transcode keeps chugging away but at a much slower rate. other than restarting the program and rtanscode is there a way to purge the memory and get it back to running at full power again? because after that happens my cpu slows down to 25ish% too so everything just chugs along at a snails pace comparatively.

Just a guess: in Preferences->System, reduce the number of frames to process simultaneously.
