Had a r1mx on order but got a deal on a scarlet and couldn't pass it up. The smaller size is much better for me in coming from a 7d.

Got a couple questions.

Need a lens mount.

Got some wonderful zf.2 lens and some canon glass. Kinda need both because the canon glass is my wide angle stuff.

What would you recommend for a lens mount? Can I get away with just a canon mount and use nikon to canon adapters on the zf.2s?

i have a zacuto evf I want to use? Will I be able to hook it up with just that zacuto arm mount thingy? I don't want a lot of plates and rails and so forth.

Also, what are the ramifications of not transferring the ownership in my name? Can I still sell it at some point in the future? Can I do the ownership transfer when I go to sell it or can I just let the guy who eventually buys it from me someday worry about it.

Thanks for the info.

So far I haven't been too happy with the fotodiox adapters (own a pro and tried a regular version) which I use with my canon 7d. I don't understand what's going in with the sloppy aperture thingy. It moves if I just shake the camera.

i was planning on getting the duclos cine mod. Maybe I'll drive down there and have them do the mount replacement too.

Ok, and with that said is there a low cost, high quality ef mount out there or should I just watch for a used one?

Duclos uses the same mount that I did, they actually recommended it to me. The mount fits like a glove and there is zero slop, like its factory built. You won't regret it.

I don't even own the actual mount that goes in the Scarlet (just got the brain). Looking at it maybe I would be better with the nikon al or a cheap clone like the optitek.
