GoPro Hero3 4K or Scarlet 4K?

I believe the Hero3 is great news for RED and Scarlet owners. 4K requires a full-ecosystem and the GoPro fills a very important niche by going where no other camera can go. There are tons of people out there that MUST use a GoPro for certain shots and without a 4K option for those shots, there is little incentive to shoot the rest of their production, film, commercial, documentary, etc. in 4K.

I just can't wait for an iPhone 7 with 4K video!

I'm so agree with you...until you talk about the iphone 7 ! screw that ! when apple will do 4k, RED will have 10K holographic ! hehehe

I have two HDHero2s with at least two projects shot underwater for film festivals this winter and I'd gladly give them away and stop my work to continue my Epic 5kWS projects. Scrubbing / Editing the GoPro footage feels like work. Scrubbing / Editing my Epic images feels like I am painting on a canvas made of silk. Artistically rewarding and addictive.
