  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Goose bumps...

The editor got DOWN.
The music Selection kills it.

Jim, I saw you sitting there in your "theatre" before Ted talked about Reducation the other day, watching that trailer... And I could see how massively proud you were. Actually, that gave me goose bumps.

Absolutely stunning! Not too shabby for a seven year old. Incredible imagery and wonderful soundtrack. The editing was superb.

Great fun to be along for the ride.

Can we go again?

I remember watching it in the RED booth theater and it gave me goosebumps, along with all the other footage you shared with us there. Being a huge Tolkien geek, and having seen the Hobbit many multiple times by now, there was nothing like watching those few moments in 4k. The nerd in me teared up by making me feel like I was in that world for a brief moment.

Like others have mentioned, I too am making it a goal to share beautiful imagery on a RED reel like this one. You may have just recently unleashed a Dragon, but your vision is helping people like me and many others here feed the fire inside us.

Just impressive! Congratulations to everyone who made it possible.

By the way: Why do we have no thread where people can list the awards that they have gotten for their work done with a RED?

Damn.

The title of this thread is perfect.

"Big things have small beginnings..."

wow. I get to work with the same tools they do... i must do better.

Amazing imagery combined with excellent editing... inspiring indeed. Congrats Jim and the entire RED team for all your hard work, can't wait for Dragon.

My buddy and I went straight from the Canon ShowReel to Red's at NAB. Afterwards, he was just blown away... "the Red stuff is on a wholly different level..." I just smiled and said... "um, yeah."

Had to log in for this one.

Absolutely, stunning. Every aspect of it was jaw dropping -- the edit, color correction, score -- just inspiring. So incredible to have witnessed the entire development. Thank you for fulfilling dreams, and for taking the time to share the reel.

Many, many, many congratulations to the entire RED team; you're KILLING it.

RED. Forever.
