Good sound fx library?

I find myself in need of a good general purpose sound fx library (all the basic folley sounds, general ambiance, etc) that are high quality. This would be used for short films and industrials. Anyone have a library they'd recommend? Thank you.

I already use them for when I want certain items, but I am looking for a collection. I know they sell some, but they sell a ton of different ones. Is there on in particular that you own, or do you do what I've been doing (buying specific sounds on an as-needed basis)?

the collection that comes with Apple's Soundtrack Pro is pretty useful - and they all come from the Sound Ideas library.

Sony Sound Effects Libraries are pretty good. I use those for most things, default Soundtrack Pro stuff for everything else. I would like to get other stuff, like the Universal sound library or the 20th Century Fox one. The best "collection" would of course be the entire Sound Ideas collection but that's a really expensive investment for just sound effects.

Budget? - Sound Ideas General library is very good. Hollywood Edge makes a good library.

Budget? - Sound Ideas General library is very good. Hollywood Edge makes a good library.

I've got a few Hollywood Edge collections and have found them to be good. They are a little more pricey but have found them to be a pretty comprehensive collection of sounds. If you're not sure, give them a call and they can make a recommendation on which collection would be the best based on your individual needs.
