Hey Matt, I'm planning to either get the 230 or the universal (100 - 240.) A stepdown would be a pain on set.

Still looking for the right deal!

Definitely. B+H offer the universal, but they cost a bit more than the 110 version.

This is the kit I have been looking at:

Considering I have a local quote for a single 400 at $2000 ex GST, this seemed pretty appealing with all the extra bits.

Some are saying just get the 400s and put them in pelican cases, which also sounds like a pretty good idea. Could probably get pretty close to AUD$2500 for 2 x 400 in cases. That would be sweet!

I'll let you know how I go. I'm probably still a month or so away from ordering. Please let me know if you find anything as well.

There are some good leads earlier in this thread if you want to have a look. BJ at Custom Supply seems to be the go-to guy.
