  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Yes. It is cheaper per lens to buy the whole set, but you can buy individuals. Full set orders will ship 1st.

Just like the old days when the only pro HD cameras that producers know are F900, Varicam .....etc.

Keeps getting better and better, can't wait to sale my entire "L" Glass collection :)

Now if I could also sale my 1Ds III and 5D II for a Scarlett, while waiting for the Epic FF645 that would be absolutely Fantastic :)

Hey Evin, things change, just ask Kodak or General Motors- or Jim for that matter.
Besides, what's a guy like Jannard to do? back off because producers prefer a couple of flavors? "Stellar performance" will be enough for the rest of the world.
The elitist paradigm is in its final throws.
 
i do have a set on order...like many here...but i have no clue when delivery is possible, how fast and lowering prices is always something good.

Can we expect our order to be fullfilled in the next 60-80 days?

price going down is good.
 
I am really happy things are accelerating. Those lenses need to be in hands of many.
...and sure the success of the Red primes will surly depend on the charts and then latter stability in mechanics.
Looking at the new zoom 18-85, I am confident they will take some serious place among the Big 3.
Can't wait!

It should be, I believe that has already been stated. It really needs to be. OTOH, the 14mm or such wide lens probably will be slower to keep the cost from exploding.

How are their folks that have these on order? Were there ever reservations? How will new orders be taken, by camera reservation?

They were in the Red store in 2007, and the wise people put in deposits.
