Newbie here, I'm getting a Scarlet-W with the standard Base expander, and getting the Wooden Camera AB plate for the back. I was going to order Global Media Gold Mount batteries. Any issues with them? I've did some reading but I can't find Gold mount. I saw that GMD selling special V Mounts for RED.
Thanks!

I have been using "generic" AB mount batteries for years, first on Scarlet-MX and Epic Dragon, and now on Weapon and Scarlet-W. Mine aren't GlobalMedia Pro batteries…they are "Comer" brand and I get them from Kerma. I use the Wooden Camera AB plates and everything works great. The only negative is that battery status is read out in volts, not time remaining…but that is no big deal. From experience I know that the camera will shut down when it hits 11.8V, so just make sure you change the battery before then...
