Can someone confirm if these Wooden camera have data pins connected and communicate with battery to display percentage and runtime in camera.

Have heard alot of mixed talk about some that do and some that dont

Your best bet is to find a battery plate mount made by anton bauer directly and use the wooden camera quickback mount to attach it. Thats what i do for my EPIC and i get all the information on the LCD that you are asking about. The whole battery set up cost me under $300

I gave up on finding one that works with my Dragon 6K.
I use both Gold and V-mount.
I miss my RED BRICKS :(

After a deep dive into all the different gold mount adapters. It does seem like DSMC 1 / 2 Still operates with the same configuration as the Red one. 4 power pins, 2 signal pins (Clock and i2c databus) And its much easier to find a "proper" gold mount plate for a red one, And with proper i mean actually logic Circuits inside to make the communication between battery and camera possible. they are also way way cheaper.

Currently going to be swapping out the connector from the older style RED ONE to the DSMC 1 / 2 connector to verify the research.

Also been shockingly disapointed in V-lock mount quality compared to Anton Bauers Gold mount.
