Hello,

I just wonder if any of you could shed some light.
I am going to for a shoot to France, I was wondering if I need some kind of paperwork for the border? And what documents would I need to get trough.
Im going by car.

Thanks in advanced,
Giancarlo.

From my experience as well as understanding of EU law, you shouldn't need any paperwork at all. I've shot quite a bit in Great Britain, France and Italy in the last two years, always bringing substantial amounts of my own equipment with me from Germany. No problem at all and no paperwork required except my personal ID at times.

no borders in the EU !
you dont need any paperwork to do !

No Paperwork needed, but maybe keep a copy of the invoice and import documents ready. I once had a customs control 20km after the "border" coming from Netherlands back to germany. Actually they where looking for Drugs, but spotted the camera and wanted to see a proof of purchase or rental contract.
Didn´t have one with me, but was no big deal, they gave me a address to send it to and everything was fine.

Nothing on the French - Spanish border. Andorra has some strange laws, but you should be able to miss that tiny piece of land.

Don't forget also the paperwork for the shoot location in France. In specific areas, you will need a paper for the shooting.
