Greatly enjoyed the stunning 4k cinematography in Reggio's latest project. Especially the subtle use of slo mo and extended tracking shots.

I checked IMDB but very little info there. Does anyone have the scoop on the following

1 What was the principal camera?
2 For the slo mo people CU's, what precise settings were use. Did he over crank at 48fps?
3 How was the BW infrared achieved?

I had the pleasure of seeing this at TIFF with the Toronto Symphony Orchestra providing the live soundtrack. It was quite the experience. I had a quick chat with Tom Lowe after the screening too. I believe most, if not all was shot on the Epic.

Thanks for sharing. Yes a difficult work. At times wasn't sure if I was the viewer or the one being viewed.

Looks like Red MX(modified to shoot infra-red) Epic's and Phantom and some 5D thrown in for some time-lapse work. Both this month's issues of American Cinematographer and Filmmaker Magazine have articles on the making of the project.

Looking forward to checking it out.
