We ran a batch of these for the Arri FF-4 and Just wanted to get some opinions on what you guys prefer to use. Thinking about running some LED-backlit discs at some point in the future too. TRON-inspired follow focus discs

Love that. More TRONic than my OConnor CFF-1 glow-in-the dark disc.
Let me know the price since I can use some with my Arri FF-5.

Jason made me a set, and they're fantastic. They're BRIGHT, but not to the point of washing out your vision. Really nice for low light/no-light shooting.

Do these work with CHROSZIEL follow focuses too? Oh, that would be awesome!

I'm also trying to find a way to ENGRAVE them for my 'typical' lens use... This would be VERY cool!

I'd definitely be interested in some of those, Jason...

Thanks, it should work well with FF-5
The price is $20

Okay. Product improvement suggestion. Two or more dark disks with clear sectors which rotate on a common shoulder and selectively lock to the illuminated disk so that the focus pull zone is defined as a green arc. My grizzley eyes do not read numbers so well in the dark. If you make some money with this trick, maybe send me one as a sampler.

Great idea! Sounds expensive however for a small run. If there's enough interest I could manufacture a set like the one you are describing

Looking great!

Would love a couple of these on my rtmotion.. Might also give of enough illumination to read iris marks as well (=

I could definitely make a batch for the RTmotion MK3 if you want. Send me an email to jason@CinemaOxide.com to make arrangements

Jason,

thanks!

i will post this in the rtmotion groupbuy thread first to see if there are more interested if it's ok with you?

best,
joost

Sure Joost, let me know if there's interest and we'll run a batch
